Both figures depict a polypoid tumor of
the upper duodenum. Histology reveals tumorous growth
of the glands of brunner, which implies benign
proliferation. The tumor initially presented as
repeated life- threatening gastrointestinal hemorrhages.
Bleeding occurrred all over
the adenomatous tissue.
