Dislocation of a plastic stent into the biliary tree
Stent dislocation Dislocated plastic stent in the bile duct. The dislocated stent presents as a longitudinal contrast filling defect. Two clips are seen along the duct some two centimetzers above the scope. Intraoperatively they were applied to close the cystic duct after cholecystectomy. See also: Stent removal.
