There are several variants of normal. Most of them can be explained by defects during the fusion of both pancreatic roots. The picture shows a partial doubling of the duct. Since it occured in the pancreatic body a fusion defect can be excluded. The fusion of the dorsal and the ventral root takes place at the pancreatic head. |
