Argonplasma coagulation
Argonplasma Villous rectal adenoma sized 5x6 cm. For high surgical risk the polyp is endoscopically resected in fractions by cautery snare. Polypoid fractions attached to the submucosa are removed by argonplasma- coagulation. Histology reveals a villous adenoma with grade II dysplasia. After two years with controls every six months the patient remains free of histological recurrence. See also Mucosectomy.
