The sequence of pictures shows an ablation of a benign, gastric polyp with mild dysplasia. Prior to treatment the polyp is located in the prepyloric antrum. After diathermic ablation argon- plasma coagulation of the visible vessel is shown in the central picture. A recurrent (twice) hemorrhage necessitates the application of a metal clip (right picture). A week later the clips have fallen off, a small ulceration has not yet healed ( bottom left) | |
