| One week after PEG implantation an oozing external hemorrhage occurred. Gastroscopy revealed a corresponding mucosal hemorrhage, which required active treatment by means of Adrenalin injection (1:20.000 dilution). The outer bumper was loosened for 5 days allowing the ulceration to heal. Also enteral feeding had to be abandonned for this period of time. | |
